Hydro-jet cleaning is the process of cleaning or removing different types of debris and blockages from the inside of pipes. It uses a large commercial truck with a large hose reel and high-pressure water. Firstly, we send the water through the affected pipe. Then, we pull the hose back to the opening, bringing with it whatever is causing the blockage. We continue to jet until no blockage is present and water is flowing. J&S also offers camera inspection services to see live video footage of your pipes. This will show if there are any breaks or damage to your pipes.

Remove Large Pipe Clogs and Blockages
What is hydro-jet cleaning?
How to remove gravel and sand from pipes?
Hydro-jet cleaning in combination with a high vac tanker can use high-pressure water. It brings the gravel, rock, and other debris to an open manhole structure. Then a tanker truck vacuums it out to remove it. If water is actively flowing after jetting, the service is complete. If gravel keeps being pulled from the manhole, a camera inspection is done. This shows any breaks or damage to piping.
How do I clean large pipes?
Large pipes, anything 8 inches or bigger, generally require high volumes of water to get debris moving and extract the debris from the pipe. Industrial factories and municipal sewer lines use this type of pipe. They often build up with debris over time, requiring a hydro jet service to remove debris and clean the pipes to get them back in proper working condition.
When do I need to call for a hydro-jet cleaning?
Anytime a large pipe is not draining properly, you can call. Also, if there is a loss in production, caused by a restricted pipe flow. This would be an appropriate time to have a hydro-jet service completed. Contact us for more information.
